PURPOSE:To provide the excitation signal encoding method and device for the speech which generate a noise code spectrum corresponding to the pitch peak position of an adaptive code vector. CONSTITUTION:The method and device for speech excitation signal encoding are equipped with a phase search part 11 which detects the phase phi from the start point to the peak position of the adaptive code vector obtained from an adaptive code book 4a, a phase adaption part 12 which adapts the phase of a stored vector obtained from a noise code book 5a on the basis of the phase phi detected by the phase search part 11, and a cycle part 6 which puts the phase- adapted noise code vector obtained from the phase adaption part 12 in pitch cycles, and switches and operates the cycle part 6 and phase search part 11 with a pitch cycle signal L. |
