PURPOSE: To confirm credit information used for the payment of a charge simultaneously with commodity delivery at the entrance of a delivering destination at the time of parcel delivery service. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a host computer provided with a memory device for preserving credit confirmation data, a portable housing carried by a delivery person, a data processor used with credit data input devices 53 and 54 mounted to the housing for inputting the credit information of a recipient, a first transmitter 50 mounted to the housing so as to check the credit information and prepare confirmation information for indicating whether or not the credit information is valid for performing operations related to the data processor and transmitting the credit information from the portable housing to the host computer, a receiver 50 mounted to the housing for performing the operations related to the data processor, a printer 12 mounted on the housing for performing the operations related to the data processor and a second transmitter for performing the operations related to the host computer, transmitting the confirmation information to the receiver 50 and generating confirmation information signals sent from the receiver 50 to the data processor. |
