Display of traffic signs inside motor vehicles

Up to date, traffic signs have to be registered by the driver while driving past. In particular in the case of zonal signing and in confused (blind) situations this can result in serious "overlooking", "forgetting" or misinterpretations. This deficiency is to be remedied and traffic safety is to be increased by the display of the most important traffic signs in the motor vehicle. By fitting a small ultrasound transmitter, a code is transmitted to the receiving module in the motor vehicle when passing the traffic sign, leading to a corresponding display in the vehicle. In this way, the driver receives a continuous feedback about the currently valid warning signs, speed limits and rights of way. The display is generally expedient in road traffic, above all in larger towns and cities, in regions with zonal limitations and blind areas.
