Wind power installation (wind power system) having a Darrieus-H rotor

A wind power installation having a Darrieus-H rotor composed of at least two rotor blades which are arranged in a rotationally symmetric fashion, extend parallel to one another and to an axis of rotation and have a wing profile (wing section, aerofoil section). The system also has, arranged on at least one end of each rotor blade, flaps which assist starting and can be swivelled out about a pivoting axis, approximately at right angles to the axis of rotation, against a stop automatically or upon the application of force.
