<p>This invention aims at providing a pipeline processor capable of optimizing a pipeline processing, which has a simple construction and employs simple control method, and there is also provided a clipping processor using the pipeline processor. When data to be processed exist, data are sequentially transferred through pipeline registers (500 to 506) while being processed in data processors (520 to 524). When a unit of data D[0:3] consisting of a plurality of data elements has been input, it is automatically discharged from the pipeline registers (500 to 506). A pipeline control portion (530 to 536) controls the transfer and automatic discharge of data in the pipeline registers (500 to 506) by LD signals. The LD signal comprises an ENIN signal and a FLASHIN signal.</p> |
