<p>The fuel atomising nozzle (1) is surrounded by an air duct (11) in the outlet direction of fuel from the nozzle. Behind the latter is formed a flame region in the fuel outlet direction. In the region of the atomised fuel, spaced from the nozzle, is located a metal netting (19). The main flame region (12) is formed behind the metal netting. Pref. the latter has a central aperture w.r.t. the nozzle axis (20), through which a part of the atomised fuel flow directly into the main flame region. The metal netting may be concave or convex.</p> |
