The present invention provides compounds or salts thereof, that are represented by the general formula (I): Pro-Ser-A-B-Asp-C-D, wherein A is an amino acid other than amino acids having a guanidino group at a side chain, B is an amino acid, C is an amino acid having a hydrophobic group at a side chain and D is a hydroxy or an amino group. The compounds and salts thereof of the present invention are useful since they have excellent platelet aggregation-inhibiting and blood coagulation-inhibiting activities and are highly safe.
