发明名称 GROUND-EFFECT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM
摘要 1,260,235. Tracked hovercraft propulsion system. BERTIN & CIE. 12 June, 1969 [27 Sept., 1968], No. 29899/69. Heading B7L. A transportation system comprises a fluid cushion vehicle 1 movable along a prepared track 3 propelled by means of at least two intermeshing toothed members, i.e. a gear-wheel 14 arid a rack 13 mounted one on the vehicle 1 and one on the track 3, at least one of the toothed members having teeth of rubber or elastomeric material. The vehicle 1 is supported on an air cushion produced by the track, the air being contained in chambers 7 therebelow and escaping through jets 6a, 6b which open on the passage of the vehicle. The vehicle is guided by low friction slides 25 or wheels, Fig. 8 (not shown), mounted on lateral extensions 23, 24 and engaging each side of a guide rail 5, between which and a second rail 12 are mounted, transversely of the track, a number of spaced rods 13 which form a rack for engagement by the gear-wheel 14 mounted in a side wall of the vehicle and driven by a turbine fan 16 which is rotated by air from the jets 6a. In another embodiment, Figs. 9, 10, 11 (not shown), the air cushions (32) are produced by the vehicle, and the gear-wheel (37) is mounted on a vertical axis to engage the rods (36) which are mounted vertically and the gear-wheel is driven by an hydraulic motor (41). In a third embodiment, Figs. 12, 13, 14, 15 (not shown), the rods (55) are mounted horizontally near the bottom of a longitudinal trough or groove (53) set into the track, and the gear-wheel (50) is mounted horizontally in the vehicle centrally thereof. The vehicle is guided by a pair of members (63) mounted on the underside of the vehicle and projecting into the trough 53, each carrying a pair of wheels (61) mounted on vertical axes and spring urged into contact with the side walls (53a) of the trough. In another embodiment, the machine 1 is supported from an overhead track (71) formed in two longitudinally divided portions (71a), (71b) mounted on pylons (76). The vehicle has, projecting from its roof (1c), a member (73) of substantially T- section, under whose arms are mounted air cushions (74) supporting the vehicle on the track, a further pair of air cushions (77) bearing against the inner edges of the two track portions to guide the vehicle. The gear-wheel (82) is mounted horizontally in the vehicle and projects through the vehicle roof to engage with rods (80) mounted horizontally in a member (81) of inverted U-section mounted in the underside of the track. In a modification, Fig. 17 (not shown), the two track portions have upwardly projecting portions (87) at their outer lateral edges, and the guidance air cushions (89) are mounted at the ends of the arms of the T- section member 70, the track (86) being covered in this case by a protective roof (90).
