The feed plug connection has a plug on the feed side and a socket on the receiving side, the plug on the feed side consisting essentially of a plug body which is mounted displaceably in a front section of a cylindrical housing, and of a handle which is arranged movably in a rear section of the housing in such a manner that it can be moved forwards in order to push the plug body against the socket on the receiving side, by means of a pivoting movement of the lever. Provided on the lever are a first locking device in order to lock the lever in such a manner that the plug body and the socket body which fits it are held engaged with one another, a second locking device for locking the first locking device in its locked condition, the second locking device having an electromagnetic coil and a device for releasing the lever from the first locked condition once the first locking device has been released from (by) the second locking device by interrupting the power supply to the electromagnetic coil.
