摘要 <p>In a method of determining the concentration of substances in a liquid, the substances are first separated through liquid chromatography or capillary electrophoresis, and subsequently detected by monitoring the refractive index of the liquid flow at more than one wavelength, and the detection step comprises quantitative evaluation of the variation with wavelength of the refractive index, said quantitative evaluation comprising calculation of the difference, differential, or derivative of the refractive index with respect to wavelength, or integration, principal component analysis, PLS (partial least squares), factor analysis, or curve fitting.</p>
