<p>The N-(3-(3-(1-piperidinylmethyl)phenoxy)propyl) hydroxyacetamide-2-hydroxy-1,2,3-propenetricarboxylate bismuth (3+) complex (1:1:1) with formula (II) is obtained as a result of the interaction between N-(3-(3-(1-piperidinylmethyl)phenoxy)propyl) hydroxyacetamide and bismuth citrate in a boiling water. The bismuth salt (II) possesses a high antisecretory and cytoprotective activity, as well as an antibacterial effect against Helicobacter pylori, and is used in tablet form or as capsules for the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers.</p> |
