The headlight has a housing (12), inside which a reflector (10) is arranged so as to be adjustable. There is screwed onto an axially fixed adjusting screw (20) a connection part (26) which is connected to the reflector (10), so that on rotation of the adjusting screw (20) the reflector (10) is adjusted. A display device (40) which has a movable display part (42) fixed to the connection part (26) and an essentially fixed display part (43) arranged outside the housing (12) is provided for the purpose of controlling the setting of the reflector (10). The essentially fixed display part (43) is arranged on a guide (53) so as to be movable with difficulty, so that this display part can be moved in order to allow a basic setting but is, however, fixed in its set position. The difficulty in moving of the essentially fixed display part (43) is achieved, for example, in that it is arranged on the guide (53) with a slight press fit (force fit). <IMAGE>
