A plastic bottle crate is described, which has at least one profiled, integrally moulded-on carrying handle. To achieve the highest possible carrying convenience, the carrying handle has a rib (15, 25) which extends in a meandering manner parallel to the upper edge of the crate and is covered on the top and bottom side in each case by a web (18, 19). The outer sections (15a, 25a) of the rib (15, 25) extending in a meandering manner expediently lie in the outer surface of the crate.
