<p>1262738 Cold liquefied gas storage systems NORMALAIR-GARRETT Ltd 31 July 1970 [6 Aug 1969] 39394/69 Index F4P 12A1 P12C1B P12C2C1 Stabilization, i.e. reduction of temperature variations throughout the depth of cold liquefied gas having been forced past a check valve in a charging valve chamber 11, Fig. 1, and through a line 12 to the bottom of a storage vessel 13 until a level A is reached, is effected by allowing relatively warm gas from an evaporator 14 in conduit connectors 15, 16, 17 with vessel 13 to pass down a stand pipe 18 past an open valve 20, Fig. 2, and a heat transfer coil 22 leading to the bottom of vessel 13. During charging of chamber 11 the gas space of evaporator 14 is vented to atmosphere through a port 21 in the charging valve casing.</p> |
