PURPOSE:To enable formation of an uniform flame even if a large-caliber combustion gas blow-off port is formed without deterioration in heating power, by connecting branch pipes on the central side and branch pipes on the outside through respective expansion parts to respective different combustion supporting gas feed pipelines. CONSTITUTION:In an external blending type quartz glass burner having many branch pipes (4a), (4b), (5a) and (5b), scattered and placed in a blow-off port for jetting a combustion gas and extendedly installed along the jetting direction of the blow-off outlet 10, the branch pipes (5a) and (5b) positioned on the central side and the branch pipes (4a) and (4b) positioned on the outside thereof are connected to the respective different combustion supporting gas feed pipelines 3 and 2. The plural branch pipes (4a), (4b), (5a) and (5b) including at least the above-mentioned branch pipe groups and simultaneously connected through expansion parts 21 and 31 to the corresponding combustion supporting gas feed pipelines 2 and 3. Thereby a large-caliber flame having uniform and great heating power can be smoothly formed without deteriorating the heating power even if a large-caliber combustion gas blow-off outlet is formed. |
