Silver halide photographic product - for direct positive image formation

Forming a positive image by exposing to an original an unfogged Ag halide emulsion layer, pref. contg. a gelatine binder, hardening the exposed layer and developing a positive image by treating with a developer at pH >12. Process is simpler than prior art inversion process for forming positive images from unfogged Ag halide emulsions.
