PURPOSE:To easily and industrially advantageously produce the artificial bone material which is rapidly dissolved and absorbed in a living body and is substd. with the nebone and has excellent mechanical strength. CONSTITUTION:This artifical bone material is formed by adding 10 to 40 pts.wt thermally decomposable material having an average grain size of 10 to 100mum to 100 pts.wt. hydroxylapatite powder having an average grain size of 0.1 to 10mum, press molding the mixture composed thereof to a required shape under >=500kg/cm<2> molding pressure and calcining the molding at 900 to 1400 deg.C under 300 to 1000kg/cm<2> pressure as a desired condition. |
