DRUM FOR HEAT TREATMENT OF FILM

PURPOSE:To provide a drum for heat-treatment of a film wherein unevenness of the temp. of the surface of the drum is little and the heat exchange efficiency is high and the drum is hardly deformed even if the nip pressure is high and deterioration caused by the heat cycle is hardly generated. CONSTITUTION:An appropriate amt. of hydraulic fluid is sealed in a closed space formed between an outer cylinder 1 on the inner peripheral face of which a fine uneven processing is treated and an inner cylinder 4. The closed space is divided by a plurality of reinforcing plates 5 in the axial direction at approximately regular intervals. A plurality of heat medium pipes 7 are spirally arranged along the inner peripheral face of the outer cylinder 1 and a heat medium for heat absorption or heat discharge is made to flow through a hollow rotational shaft 3. It is possible thereby that it is durable to a high nip pressure caused by the reinforcing plate 5 and the heat efficiency is improved by making the outer cylinder 1 thin and unevenness of temp. becomes a little as the hydraulic fluid is held on the inner peripheral face of the outer cylinder 1 by the processing of a fine unevenness and as the heat medium pipe 7 is arranged spirally, a pump effect caused by rotation of the drum can be expected and the stress caused by quick heating or cooling can be easity relaxed.
