PURPOSE:To identity the physical motion of a living human body in exercise from his blood pulsation and to measure the intensity of the exercise. CONSTITUTION:Signals Sa, Sb emitted from sensors 1, 2 worn by an examinee is exercise become the signals where blood pulse waves are superposed by physical motion components. These signals Sa, Sb are, after being Fourier transformed by a high speed Fourier circuit 3, compared by a comparison circuit 4 as to the amplitude of their model frequency component (frequency component of pulse wave and physical motion). A determination circuit 5, then, identifies the pulse wave from the physical motion based on the comparison results and a display section 6 displays the pulsation corresponding with the basic frequency of the pule wave. The display section 6 also displays the change of exercise intensity decided by the decision circuit 5. Consequently, the change of exercise intensity for the examinee may be observed while the person is in exercise.
