PURPOSE:To obtain a heating type humidifier which causes little deviation of an indicated humidity from an outdoor air humidity, enables simplification of a program for humidity correction of a microcomputer and has an excellent following property. CONSTITUTION:When the value of a rise of the temperature around a humidity sensor 113 correlating with the temperature of a heater 102 is calculated on the basis of an input value of a temperature sensor 1 fitted to the heater 102 and an input value of the humidity sensor 113 is corrected by the value of the rise of the temperature, a detected value of the temperature sensor 1 is collated with a conversion table divided into several grades and an average value in the same division is used as a corrective value in the division. Thereby a computation processing of the corrective value is facilitated and a software processing for a microcomputer is simplified. While the effect of a change in the temperature of the heater 102 appears as a change in the temperature around the humidity sensor 113, a time lag thereof is estimated and the correction processing based on the detected value of the temperature sensor 1 is delayed. Thereby a disadvantage at the time when the thermal effect of the heater 102 is absent can be eliminated.
