PREPARATION OF MOLDED ITEM OF ARTIFICIAL MARBLE WITH STRIPED PATTERN

PURPOSE:To form a deep striped pattern even on the vertical face part by a method wherein a molding material made of a base resin material and a material for the striped pattern is made to flow in the bottom force of a mold and the molding material is spread by the top force to perform thee molding. CONSTITUTION:A base resin material 2 and a material for a striped pattern 3 are pref. placed alternatively in a container such as a hopper. A molding material 5 made of the base resin material 2 and the material 5 made of the base made to flow in the bottom force 4 of a mold from a slit part of a container to store a molding material 5 with a colored striped pattern in the bottom force 4. Then, the top force 6 is inserted in the bottom force 4 to spread the molding material 5. Under this condition, the top force 6 and the bottom force 4 are clamped and after curing it, the mold is released.
