PURPOSE:To provide a bed mat capable of absorbing urine and sweat at a low cost, having in its upper layer a soft urethane foam comprising communicating bubbles as the principal component, in its middle layer an absorbing polymer sheet and in its lower layer a soft urethane foam. CONSTITUTION:A middle layer 12 is made of a known water absorbing polymer sheet. An upper layer 11 of soft urethane foam comprising communicating bubbles as the principal component can retain the moisture or the like which penetrates instantly or massively and beyond the absorbing and retaining capacity of middle layer 12 temporarily or disperse them in its communicating buble. Therefore it is possible to provide an economic mat 10 capable of supporting the water absorption of middle layer 12 and reducing the quantity of water absorbing polymer sheet. A lower layer 13 is made of soft urethane foam capable of perfectly intercepting the moisture penetrating when the quantity of moisture is beyond the capacity of the middle layer 12. In addition, the upper layer 11 and lower layer 13 having water repellency of soft urethane foam, it is capable of easily reomving the moisture, drying the mat in a short time by washing and dewatering and reusing the mat. |
