SCRAP WIRE DISPOSAL METHOD

PURPOSE:To make a wire body, which is an off-specification product or waste, short-sized efficiently with high workability so as to facilitate the automation of subsequent scrap wire disposal. CONSTITUTION:The coil 12 of a wire body 10 is radially cut as it is by plural cutting edges 18A to 18H to form waste filament. There is thereby no need to pull out the coiled wire body linearly, nor need to adjust the entanglement and the like of the wire body. The short-sized wire bodies are straightened into nearly rectilinear shape so as to enable the automation of successive scrap wire disposal.
