METHOD FOR CUTTING OF PREPREG

PURPOSE:To prevent a resin powder from falling down from a cut part when a prepreg is cut down. CONSTITUTION:A prepreg 1 obtd. by impregnating a long sheet-like base material with a thermosetting resin and drying it is trasferred and cut into a specified dimension by means of a rotary cutter 2. In this case, the part to be cut of the prepreg 1 is heated over a width of 10 am at 150 deg.C. Cutting is performed while the resin is softened (within 5sec).
