PURPOSE:To surely release a constant speed travel condition by providing a brake switch, which is ON-operated before actual operation timing of a brake so as to release the constant speed travel condition at the ON-time, in a constant speed travel device, in which the constant speed travel condition is released in the operation of the brake. CONSTITUTION:A stop switch 13 and a stop lamp switch 17 are built in a switch member 18 installed in the vicinity of a supporting shaft of a brake pedal 12. In the stop switch 13, the OFF-operation is carried out by detecting the operation of a brake before an actual operation timing, which is based on an oil pressure of a brake corresponding to the ON-operation of the stop lamp switch 17. In this way, if the brake pedal 12 is operated, firstly, the OFF-operation is carried out in the stop switch 13, and then, the ON-operation is carried out in the stop lamp switch 17. When the OFF-operation is carried out in the stop switch 13, a control unit 6 releases the constant speed travel condition. |
