PURPOSE:To prevent any pressure unbalance in a compression space from occurring, in a lap form dispensing with any increase in the number of scrolls of a shaft-through type scroll compressor without such an upsetting moment as tilting a tuning scroll. CONSTITUTION:While the seal of a foremost inner circumferential compression space is carried out with a circular part 3ac of a lap cutoff, two interconnecting passages 24 and 25 interconnecting a compression space in the higher side in a built compression ratio to a discharge port a little earlier are installed in the central part of a lap 3a of a turning scroll 3. With this constitution, the number of scrolls is not increased, a diameter is small, accuracy of finishing is improved, load in a sliding part and a bearing is reducible and a mechanical loss is also abated, and simultaneously such a small sophisticated compressure as being less in pressure unbalance is thus realizable.
