PURPOSE:To improve bonding strength between a bottom part and a cylindrical ceramic molding by a method wherein the cylindrical ceramic molding is molded and a ceramic raw material is press-molded therein to mold integrally the bottom part and the while item is baked. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical and hollow ceramic molding 15 is molded by extrusion molding. This molding 15 is supported vertically by a fixing guide and in an outer guide 13. In this case, a lower punch 12 with the same diameter as the inner diameter of the molding 15 and a projected curved face-like pressing face is arranged. In addition, a ceramic raw material 16 with the same compsn. granulated by adding a binder is placed into a space formed by the lower punch 12 and the molding 15 and the raw material 16 is press-molded by lowering an upper punch 11 by means of a hydraulic press. After this is dried and baked, the bottom part 10a is processed to a curved face shape to prepare a bottomed ceramic pipe 10. In addition, it is pref. to make the processed face of the upper punch 11 into a recessed curved face-like shape. |
