PURPOSE:To provide a test result automatically by computer processing, not by visual operation. CONSTITUTION:A print tester 1 comprises a print test data output means 10 for outputting print test data, an expected value keeping means 12 for keeping an expected value bit map form for judging a print data formed in a printer 2 based on a print test data is correct or not, a comparison means 14 for inputting the expected value and the print data transferred from the printer 2 and making a comparison of them and a test result output means 16 for outputting the test result. The printer 2 is provided with printing data cyclical means 23 for transferring the printing data formed based on the printed test data to the print tester 1, and the expected value is compared with the printing data, and the test result based on the comparison result is outputted. |
