PURPOSE:To provide cooking equipment that can promptly heat food materials to the core without unevenness, sandwiching the material between a pair of heat source plates which contain thin plates formed mixing with a far-infrared substance. CONSTITUTION:This equipment comprises a pair of heat source plates 1, 1, each of which comprises the following: a thin plate heater 11 using a film formed by a far-infrared radiation substance or a Tefron film mixed with a far-infrared radiation substance, and metal plates 3 and 10 sandwiching the heater 11. Each of the plates 1, 1 is placed such that each of the plates 10, 10 faces another, where the plates 10, 10 form heated plates and the opposite plates 3, 3 form heat regenerators. A pair of holes 30, 30 are formed on the plate 3 to fix a pair of terminals 1p, 1p, to which a pulse with a predetermined voltage amplitude is applied. The amount of heat generation can be controlled by changing the pulse width. Sandwiching a flat food material, a frozen meat paste for instance, between the plates 1, 1 and applying a pulse between the terminals 1p, 1p heats it swiftly without unevenness to the core. |
