PURPOSE:To elongate the flying distance of a struck ball effectively by arranging so that the whole core is not likely to deform when the ball is struck, and suppressing increment of the weight of a bat. CONSTITUTION:In the body 1 of a bat structured hollow, a shafting member 4 is instaled along the bat axis P in the area of the bat body which is expected to strike a ball, while plate members 5 extending in the direction perpendiculaly intersecting the bat axis P are installed along the outside surface of the shafting member 4, and a core 2 of hard nature is formed through single piece molding of these shafting member 4 and plate members 5 and is fitted by pressure into the bat body 1 in the condition that the plate members 5 are compressed in the direction along the plate surfaces. |
