PURPOSE:To greatly shorten the purifying time of the ferrous-containing soln. being a starting material in the case of production of ferrite starting material powder by atomizing firing of metallic salt soln. CONSTITUTION:In the case of purification of an acidic soln. of the multicomponent metallic salt containing ferrous being a starting material soln. soft ferrite starting material powder is introduced previously into the soln. to reduce a free acid and to rise pH to 1.0-2.0 then the metal constituting the soln. is introduced to further reduce the free acid and to adjust the pH to 2.0-5.0, and also, the soln. is brought into contact with an oxygen-containing gas to adsorb impurities onto the obtained iron oxide, and the impurities are removed efficiently by filtering the iron oxide. |
