PURPOSE:To prevent ink blur of printed paper by providing on a paper discharge roller a cleaner which can remove ink in contact with a head peripheral face of a pointed rotor in such a manner that the cleaner becomes lower than the roller peripheral face so as to remove the ink attached to the head peripheral face of the pointed rotor. CONSTITUTION:A paper discharge roller 11 is arranged rotatably at downstream side of an ink jet head in paper conveying direction and a star wheel 12 is pressed with a predetermined pressure against the paper discharge roller 11 by utilizing a spring force. A urethane star wheel cleaner 22 which absorbs ink in contact with a head peripheral face 12b of the star wheel 12 is mounted rotatably and detachably from the star wheel 12. In this case, a cleaner 31 which comes in contact with the head peripheral face 12b of the pointed rotor 12 is arranged on the peripheral face of the paper discharge roller 11 at a position lower than the peripheral face of the roller 11 so as not to contact with the rear face of a paper to be sent by the paper discharge roller 11, so that the ink attached to the head peripheral face 12b can be removed. |
