PURPOSE:To eliminate the faithlessness when a bank book is inserted in the state of opening an erroneous page by judging the necessity of page feed based on the recognition result of a page recogniation means and displaying a page feed guide information based on the judgement result of the necessity of page feed. CONSTITUTION:The actual information including a recitation number, an account number and the like is read from magnetic stripes of a card received from a card insert by a card reader unit 21, and the card is returned to the card insert. Whether the page feed of a bank book is necessary or not, the success and failure of page feed processing and the judgement of re-insert page information in the case of failure of page feed processing are performed by a main control section 32 based on the recognition at the page feed processing section. The remaining amount diagnosis for various kinds of media such as bank notes, coins, receipt papers and the like is performed by the main control section 32, and the operation diagnosis for a unit 21 to a unit 27 is also performed. If required, a remote monitor 34 is connected with the main control section 32 to carry out monitoring from a remote site, and an information almost the same as that of an inner monitor 28 is displayed on the remote monitor 34. |
