PURPOSE:To enable a superior anti-vibration characteristic to be attained by a method wherein a flange-like foot of a motor for use in driving an air blowing or air suction fan is supported by a housing through a substantial cylindrical rubber. CONSTITUTION:A foot 4 extending from a motor 7 for use in driving a fan for feeding air or sucking air is held with rubbers 31, 32. The motor 7 is fixed to a housing 1 through vibration-proof rubbers 31, 32 with bolts 35, nuts 34 and spacers 35. A feature of this vibration-proof structure 30 consists in a shape of the rubber 32, wherein the rubber 32 is formed into a cup-shaped form to keep softness of the vibration-proof rubber 32 and then vibration transmitted from the motor 7 to the housing 1 is insulated. That is, a vibration-proof effect can be attained at a natural oscillation as well all frequencies of the housing 1 under a combination of the housing 1 and the vibration-proof structure 30. With such an arrangement as above, it is possible to get a superior vibration- proof characteristic at the indoor device. |
