PROPELLER SHAFT AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PURPOSE:To provide an FRP propeller shaft of high torsional strength and its manufacture. CONSTITUTION:When a section of a main body cylinder 1 crossing at right angles to a rotary shaft is observed, boundaries 5 are formed between reinforcing fiber bundles 4 positioned adjacent to each other and the boundaries 5 comprise recessed and projecting parts formed in radial direction of the main body cylinder 1 in a propeller shaft having an FRP main body cylinder 1.
