<p>PURPOSE:To effectively wash a drink circuit by the use of a small amount of washing water, by a method in which, at the same time that the washing water is conveyed to the drink circuit, a carbon dioxide gas is blown into the washing water, thereby washing the drink circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a wash command is automatically issued to a control part 10 by means of a timer, valves V5 and V4 and a water-conveying pump 12 are turned on, and consequently the conveyance of washing water from a water reservoir 8, via a dispense head 4, to a beer supply line 14 is started. Also, by exerting control so that, at the same time that the washing water is conveyed, the valve V1 of a carbon dioxide gas supply line is repeatedly turned on and off intermittently in a short-time cycle, the carbon dioxide gas is blown into the washing water from a carbon dioxide gas bomb 5 through the valve 1 and a nonreturn valve 2 in synchronization with the ON/OFF operation of the valve 1. The carbon dioxide gas flows in the form of bubbles along the conduit of the beer supply line 14 together with the washing water, and effectively removes the soil of a pipe wall by the action of cavitation.</p> |
