PURPOSE: To improve rolling resistance and noise when a pneumatic tire having a block for running outside of a road is used on a paved road. CONSTITUTION: A tread is divided into several rows of block rows in the circumferential direction, and a groove of the block angled obliquely in each block row is designed so that it comes in the opposite direction alternately for block row. Narrow grooves 4 to 7 of the tread in the circumferential direction divide the tread into several blocks, and oblique and narrow branch grooves 41, 51, 53, 62 divide the block row into blocks. A tie-bar 62 is provided in the groove in the lateral direction of the block row. Furthermore, sipes 45, 46, 49, 50, 48 are arranged at predetermined places in blocks of each block row in the circumferential direction or axial direction or linearly or like a hook. A cavity part 60 of a shoulder face of a tire reinforces traction force in the sand and earth. |
