PURPOSE:To provide a colored image forming material which inhibits the generation of a flaw in a transferred image due to the breakdown of a cushion layer and provides colorproof similar to a printed matter. CONSTITUTION:This colored image forming material consists of a cushion layer formed on a support or at the top, and further, at least, one coloring photosensitive layer containing a photosensitive composition and a coloring agent on the cushion layer and a protecting layer formed on the coloring photosensitive layer. A colored image is formed by an image pattern exposure and an image development process, then the colored image is transferred to a transfer medium with a non-image portion exposed to obtain a transferred image. (1) the protecting layer has a solid particle averaging 10mum or less in grain diameter, (2) the solid particle averaging 10mum or less in grain diameter is provided directly on a surface having the protecting layer of the support and on its opposite surface, or a back layer having the solid particle averaging 10mum or less in grain diameter is provided on the surfaces. |
