PURPOSE:To provide a reinforced earth arch structure favourable N in traveling characteristics of a vehicle and excellent in earthquake resistance by assembling and stacking left and right side panels on both sides of an arch bridge pier and filling light banking earth between these left and right panels. CONSTITUTION:Bridge piers made of cast-in-place reinforced concrete or precast concrete are constructed with specified intervals. Between these bridge piers, a bridge girder 2 is constructed over. A plural number of arch beams 2a constituting the bridge beam 2 are integrally connected to each other by a connecting member 2b. The arch beam 2a is made of concrete to make a large span possible. On both sides of the bridge girder 2, left and right side panels 3 are piled so as to be, so called, breaking joints. Between the left and right side panels, a tie-bolt 4 is furnished, and by a turnbackle 4a, an interval between the both panels 3 is adjusted. Between these left and right side panels 3, light banking earth is filled. |
