PURPOSE:To provide a thermal recording material reduced in the generation of background fog even if subjected to a high temp. or high humidity. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal recording material wherein a recording layer containing a colorless or light-colored basic dye and a coupler is provided on a support, a copolymer containing 0.2-5.0mol of alkyl acrylate having a 4-10C alkyl group with respect to 1mol of acrylate as a monomer main component is added to the recording layer. |
