PURPOSE: To provide a throwaway diaper which has superior diaper characteristics especially in the absorbency, comfortableness, and strength, is facilitated in its manufacture, and is provided at a fascinating price by constituting the inside liner and the outside layer of a long-fiber type cellulosic material which is, at least, strong in leakage. CONSTITUTION: A diaper 1 is provided with, at least, a substantially liquid impermeable outside layer 2, a liquid permeable inside linear 3, and an absorbent pad 4 sandwiched between them. The outside chamber 2 and the inside liner are made of a cellulosic material, preferable a fiber made of leaves or stems of a banana plant of Manila hemp species. These fibers are especially fitted to the throwaway diaper in its length, considerable strength, and flexibility. The pad 4 which incorporates a cotton-shaped cellulosic material is constituted of two-layer parts 4a, 4b, one of them is put on the other, and an absorbent, narrow, long piece 5 is sandwiched between them. |
