PURPOSE:To check any interconnection between two intake passage without entailing a fuel drip by installing a partition wall member having the specified thickness and partitioning off two intake passages at an opening part, in another opening part at the intake downstream side of a fuel injection valve separately from an intake wall. CONSTITUTION:Two intake ports 2 and 3 are parallelly installed in an engine cylinder head 1 in the longitudinal direction. An interval between both these intake ports 2 and 3 is paritioned off by an intake wall 4, and each downstream end is opened or closed by an intake valve 5. In addition, a mounting hole 8 of a fuel injection valve 12 and two injection ports 9 and 10 are formed at each upstream end of both these intake ports 2 and 3. Further an opening part 15 interconnecting both these intake ports 2, 3 via these two injection ports 9, 10 is formed in the partition wall 4, and this opening part is interconnected to the mounting hole 8. In this constitution abovementioned, a partition wall member 19 partitioning off both these intake ports 2 and 3 at the opening part 15 is additionally installed at the intake downstream side of the fuel injection valve 12 separately from the intake wall 4. |
