PURPOSE:To control the number of revolutions of an outdoor fan properly by increasing or decreasing the number of revolutions of the outdoor fan in accordance with a rise or fall of the temperature of outdoor air and by reducing further the number of revolutions of the outdoor fan when a condensation temperature is a prescribed temperature or below in the case when a detected temperature of the outdoor air is a prescribed temperature or below. CONSTITUTION:In an air conditioner, a compressor 1, an outdoor heat exchanger 2 as a condenser, an expansion valve 5 and an indoor heat exchanger 6 as an evaporator are connected sequentially and a refrigerating cycle is formed thereof. The condenser 2 is supplied with outdoor air A from an outdoor fan 3 and the evaporator 6 with indoor air B from an indoor fan 7 respectively. In this case, the temperature of the outdoor air A is detected by an outdoor air temperature sensor 10. Meanwhile, the temperature of a refrigerant at an outlet of the condenser 2 is detected by a condensation temperature sensor 11. In a control device 12, the number of revolutions of the outdoor fan 3 is increased or decreased in accordance with a rise or fall of the temperature of the outdoor air A, and the number of revolutions of the outdoor fan 3 is reduced further when a condensation temperature becomes a prescribed temperature or below in the case when the detected temperature of the outdoor air A is a prescribed temperature or below.
