PURPOSE:To provide a simple process for the production of a fluorine-containing compound useful as an important raw material for pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, functional materials, etc. CONSTITUTION:This process for the production of a fluorine-containing compound expressed by the general formula Y-CF2-CR2-CR2-R' or R'-CR2-CR2-(CF2)n- CR2-CR2-R' comprises the reaction of an organotin compound expressed by the general formula R'SnR''3 with a halogenated compound expressed by the general formula Y-CF2-CR2-CR2-X or X-CR2-CR2-(CF2)n-CR2-CR2-X (R' IS alkenyl, alkynyl, aralkyl or aromatic group; R'' is alkyl; Y is H, halogen or polyfluoroalkyl; X is halogen; R is H, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl or aromatic group; (n) is integer of 1-20). |
