<p>(A) Benzodiazepines of general formula (I): R1, R2 and R3 are same or different H, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, halogen, hydroxy, nitro, cyano, acyl, trifluoremethyl, amino, acylamino, N-mono (lower-alkyl) amino, N-di(lower alkyl) amino, acyloxy, carboxyl, alkoxycarbonyl, carbamoyl, N-mono(lower alkyl) carbamoyl, N-di(lower alkyl) carbamoyl, lower alkylthio, lower alkylsulphinyl or lower alkylsulphonyl; R4 = H, lower alkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl, aryl or phenacyl; R5 and R6 are same or different H or lower alkyl; A = polymethylene opt. substd. with lower alkyl, hydroxy-substd. lower alkyl or phenyl X = -O or -S (B) Intermediates of general formula (II): (I) have psychosedative and antidepressive activity and may be used as tranquillising agents against various psychoneurotic depressions. They have very low toxicity and few side-effects. Cpds. (II) are intermediates in the synthesis of (I).</p> |
