SYNTHETIC RESIN COMPOSITION FOR COVERING CABLE

摘要

The synthetic resin composition for coating a wire cable comprises: 79.7-94.97 wt.% of polyethylene resin and 5-20 wt.% of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer; and 0.03-0.3 wt.% of a copolymer of vinylidene fluoride and hexafluoro propylene; and pref. 1-5 wt.% of carbon black. The polyethylene resin has 0.01-0.7 g/min of melt index and 0.926-0.970 g/m2 of specific gravity, and the ethylene-vinylacetate copolymer has 1.0-10 g/min of melt index and contains 28 wt.% of vinylacetate. The obtd. resin compsn. has excellent environmental stress cracking resistance.
