The subject of the invention is a stage-mounted drilling machine which executes holes in line with great rapidity and precision, the same acting pneumatically and moving laterally on cylindrical guides 3 or rails which are integral with a mounting stage 2. The machine 1 includes a demountable lateral support 5, to which linear bearings 4 are coupled, by means of which the drilling machine 1 slides along the rails 3. The stage 2 incorporates, parallel to the guides 3, a template 8, along which the distribution of the orifices to be bored is defined, such that by means of a pneumatic follower 10 the exact position is determined of each of the said holes to be bored. The machine 1 for stage-mounted boring is able to modify the line of perforations by means of a screw spindle-nut mechanism 2, without varying the location of the stage. <IMAGE>
