Pharmaceutical compositions of phytic acid or its derivatives and applications thereof. The compositions comprise: 50-100 mg of phytic acid and/or its pharmaceutically acceptable phytates; 15003000 IU of provitamin A and/or vitamin A; 2-5 g of salts of Zn(II) and excipient in a sufficient quantity per unit dose. These compositions have applications as inhibitors of the formation of calcium oxalate crystals in the kidney and protectors of the uroepithelium and, therefore, for the treatment of pathological or prepathological conditions due to idiopathic oxalocalcic renal lithiasis. Said compositions are also used in the manufacture of drugs and coadjuvant dietary complements of the aforesaid treatment.
