New analgesic formulations with a broad spectrum of action. New liquid analgesic formulations for oral use, suitable for the systemic treatment of pain, are described. Said formulations contain an opioid agonist together with an inert support which operates by controlling the release of the active principle over time. These new formulations contain the following quantities of ingredients per 100 ml of total volume: total morphine hydrochloride: 1.5-3 g; standardized phytocolloid: 1.25-1.75 g. These formulations have applications in the pharmaceutical industry.
