It is intended to act on the gear-change levers 1 of a racing bicycle or, alternatively, directly on the cable 11 actuated in turn by said connecting rods, replacing direct manual action. It consists of two electric micromotors 2 which, by means of respective reducing transmissions 3, are capable of transmitting a rotary movement in one or the other direction to a small output shaft 4 on which are rolled up, with opposite directions of rolling-up, the ends of a wire 5 which, suitably guided, is capable of displacing an entrainment block 7 mounted on an arcuate guide 9 which is concentric with the shaft 10 of the gear-change levers 1, said entrainment block 7 having a groove 32 for coupling to the free end of the lever such that the electric rotary movement of the electric motor in one direction or the other gives rise to a longitudinal displacement of the wire 5 with the consequent arcuate displacement of the corresponding block 7 which in turn gives rise to a likewise corresponding rocking of the lever 1. <IMAGE>
